Amendment to the homestudy if something changes such as Country
 you plan to adopt from, address,  income, job change etc.                    $200

Updated home study                                                                                      $600 (if IAG did the HS)
Updates are needed if information changes in the                                     $800 (if HS by other agency)
home study such as address, job, income, change of 
adoption plans, age, sex, race of child to be adopted etc.

Update must be done with in 18 months of an approved HS


Expedited home study (charge if home study is completed within 4 weeks) $200
All home studies must be completed with in 3 months of the application date.
With all supporting documents dated within that 3 month period.

Facilitating a domestic adoption $3,000
(Fee for family if they locate a child or birth mother and
wish for the agency to facilitate the adoption process.)
Assistance with ICPC forms add another $1,000
Additional service from an attorney may be needed and those fees are not included.

Birth mother or family counseling                                                                 $50 (1st hour) 
                                                                                                                         $25 (each additional hour)


No mileage is charged for Gaston or Mecklenburg counties
Up to 4 notarized home studies will be given. Additional home studies or documents issued will cost $5 each. County and State certifications will be charged if needed. Prices are a fee of $25 per group of documents( 1 to 100 documents), plus $3 per county certification and $10 for Secretary of State Certifications also, a charge for FedEx fees for shipping of documents. Please inform your homestudy worker if you have additional documents you will need for your adoption.
